AI Change Log

Purpose
This change log records material changes to Teacher's Buddy AI systems, model or provider configuration, user-facing AI functionality, responsible-AI guidance, data-handling disclosures, and AI-related controls where those changes may affect users or schools.
Change Criteria
We record changes here when they materially affect AI behaviour, supported AI features, data processing, user transparency, known limitations, provider or model selection, responsible-use guidance, opt-in or opt-out controls, monitoring, or incident response.
August 2026
- 25 August 2026: Updated the Privacy Policy and Sub-Processors register to disclose configurable Amazon Bedrock and Azure OpenAI processing, clarify AI-provider request handling, and align privacy-incident and complaint pathways with the current governance documents.
- 18 August 2026: Refined privacy, reporting and authorised sharing controls for AI-assisted instructional-coaching workflows.
- 5 August 2026: Added policy-controlled provider routing for direct AI providers. Resource-grounded workflows can use a separately configured model, and invalid or incomplete provider configuration fails closed rather than silently selecting an unintended provider.
- 3 August 2026: Introduced a controlled Amazon Bedrock route for publisher-intake interpretation. Activation is environment-specific and subject to provider configuration and rollout checks.
July 2026
- 31 July 2026: Added resource-grounded output-fidelity checks and made final fidelity review an explicit human review step.
- 23 July 2026: Added Responsible AI Guidance covering how the AI system works, human review, AI limitations, accuracy and bias checks, privacy, permission and consent, legal and school obligations, effective prompting, and reporting pathways for AI errors or concerns.
- 23 July 2026: Added explicit Privacy Policy guidance for stopping future AI processing, disconnecting authorised integrations, requesting deletion or restriction, and withdrawing consent where consent is the applicable legal basis.
- 23 July 2026: Introduced this AI Change Log and formalised the requirement to record material AI system, model, feature, provider, disclosure, and user-control changes.
- 14 July 2026: Adopted the Responsible AI Framework and AI Ethics Policy for Teacher's Buddy AI governance, roles, risk management, testing, monitoring, user communication, feedback, complaints, incidents, and continual improvement.
