The Service is provided by Teachers Buddy Pty Ltd (ABN 69 686 840 424), an Australian company based in Victoria, Australia.

2. Description of Service

Teacher's Buddy is an AI-powered platform that helps educators create teaching resources including lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and administrative documents.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your details up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful educational purposes. You may not use the Service to generate harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content.

5. Intellectual Property

Content you create using Teacher's Buddy belongs to you. You retain all rights to your generated outputs. Teacher's Buddy retains rights to the underlying platform, tools, and technology.

6. AI Features and Responsible Use

This Service may use artificial intelligence features to assist users with drafting, summarising, searching, recommending, or generating content. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for a specific purpose.

Users should not rely solely on AI-generated outputs for important decisions. Human review is required before using AI outputs in academic, professional, legal, financial, medical, safety-related, or other high-impact contexts.

Users are responsible for checking the accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of any AI-assisted content before sharing, submitting, or acting on it. Users should not enter sensitive personal information, confidential business information, credentials, payment details, or other restricted data into AI features unless explicitly authorised and necessary.

The Service is designed to support human decision-making, not replace it. Any AI-assisted recommendations, classifications, or generated content should be treated as suggestions only.

Users must use AI features responsibly and must not use them to create harmful, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.

7. Limitation of Liability

Teacher's Buddy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users or school administrators of material updates through a reasonable channel such as email, in-app notice, an administrator notice or an equivalent service communication.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Subject to any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
